Missions and Outreach
Our church believes in reaching the world around us, locally as well as globally. Our church has current mission trips to Manti, Utah, every June. In the past we have been to Mexico, Russia, and El Salvador as well as other places around our country. Our local ministry is through concerts and outreach at local parks and places where the general public is found. We have possible future plans to go to Germany if that is the Lord's will.
Manti Missions
Every June there is the Manti Mormon Miracle Pageant, which depicts the story behind the Mormon religion. Since 2001 our church has been sending a team to witness to the Mormons on the streets outside the temple grounds before the pageant starts. We join about 150 other Christians from around the country for the training and outreach. Training takes place at Ephraim Church of the Bible in Ephraim, Utah. This church is pastored by our old youth pastor Rodney Zedicher. Training is held in the morning and we hit the streets every evening. We use a multitude of tools for sharing the truth with the LDS, but the most effective is the Impossible Gospel shared directly out of the Book of Mormon.
Local Outreach
The youth group is looking to get involved in our community through acts of service this summer.
